I'm April Rose, A Brand Strategist & Designer in the industry for 5 years and have owned my own business for 2 years.

I educate women soloprenuers on how to set their brands apart using strategy and aesthetic appeal to get more paying customers in the door! I studied Integrated Strategic Communications in college which gives me a background in understanding psychology in advertising in marketing. I aim for every client of mine to re-enter their business after re-branding with not only a fresh look, but a brand that gives them the confidence to present their business to the world.


ABOUT THE CLASS:

Have you ever wondered, "Why am I not attracting dream clients?" or "I feel like the people inquiring with me don't align with my style."

What if I told you that it could be because of your brand's colors and/or typography?

I studied Integrated Strategic Communications in college which gives me a background in understanding psychology in advertising in marketing. I like to blend the two worlds of marketing and graphic design to build a strategic and cohesive brand for my clients.

Color and Typography Psychology plays a huge role in what types of clients are flocking towards your business.

In this class, I will walk us through how to identify your dream client and assess if your branding is connecting with that ideal client. I will share the power of Color and Typography psychology and how to analyze your color palette and fonts to better serve you. We will discuss common mistakes and challenges facing brands today and how to use my strategy to refine and implement color and type changes into your website and marketing graphics. Lastly, we will cover presenting your new DIY brand to your ideal audience effectively on your platforms and how to analyze if your engagement has improved after the brand refresh!

You will leave class with the ability to:

  • analyze your current brand color and typography through the lens of marketing psychology
  • engage with a guided workbook for taking notes and analyzing your brand effectively
  • implement changes in brand elements using a fresh strategy
