Creating a Windowsill Herb Garden-Online Course
ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Welcome everyone to my garden space where I will teach you how to turn your brown-thumb green. My name is Mindy McIntosh-Shetter and I am an international author who has written three gardening books that teach people how to garden from a historical perspective. While my style is organic, I have a BS in Agricultural Education from Purdue University and a MA from the University of Louisville that supports my teaching style along with 16 years of experience as an agricultural blogger and video blogger.
ABOUT THE CLASS:
Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh smell of basil, mint, and oregano. No, you are not dreaming but simply enjoying the aroma of your very own windowsill herb garden that you planted with your own two hands and green thumbs. So forget about those dried herbs in the spice aisle and skip past the fresh herbs packaged in plastic and allow me to teach you how to grow your own 4-season windowsill herb garden. I will demonstrate how to create a beautiful and functional herb garden that can provide you with fresh herbs year-round.
In this class, you will learn the basics of container gardening and how to start your herb garden through seed, plants, and cuttings. I will discuss some of the tricks involved in creating a successful windowsill herb garden utilizing many supplies you already have in your home or garden shed.
