ABOUT THE CLASS:
As a business executive owner, executive and / or entrepreneur, you are your own best public relations person!
You are an expert in your field. You know your business better than anyone else. Talking with the media is a wonderful opportunity to tell your story. No surprise, though, it’s not as simple as calling The Wall Street Journal and landing a feature article...
A well-executed PR program requires many steps and, thus, a great deal of time, attention, and financial support.
If that sounds great, but, not great right now, this class is for you!
I will walk you through the baby steps that can be taken as you embark on the PR trail.
By the end of this class you will be able to:
+ Create a PR outreach plan for the next 6 months.
+ Apply what you learn when it comes to writing succinct email pitches that get the attention of journalists.
+ Craft your brand's top three key messages, which not only help you in pitching to the media, they are important for sales, marketing, hiring and training.
As with any service you hire out, you can spend a hefty amount on a full-blown public relations program led by a professional, or you can opt to do things yourself on a smaller scale. With a few exceptions, this class offers advice for when you decide to go it alone with little to no budget.
MATERIALS STUDENTS WILL USE IN CLASS:
After the class, learners will receive a reference sheet of the discussion.
STUDENTS WILL TAKE HOME:

Minimum age requirement: 21 or older
Learners must have access to Zoom, utilizing live video and audio.
