Pottery Wheel Throwing
ABOUT THE TEACHER:
I am a Louisville, Kentucky native who has devoted his career to the craft of clay! After high school I worked at Louisville Stoneware where I learned to operate the jigger wheel. In 2003 I entered Berea College where I learned the hand-crafted skill of wheel thrown pottery. After earning my B.A. in ceramics I visited some of the country’s prominent clay art regions including Seattle, North Carolina, Ohio, Philadelphia, and Virginia where I saw inspiring ceramic technique and studio settings. This inspired me to return to Louisville where I has established AA Clay Studio in 2013.
