Strategy Workshop to Support Working from Home
ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Hello! My name is Erica Ranade, and I am a behavior analyst. That means I work with people from all walks of life to help them operationalize, collect information, set goals, and implement interventions to help them be as successful and independent as possible. I have two masters degrees in Psychology from Illinois State University, and I have spent the past decade working in school districts, private clinics, independent practices, and university settings. I am passionate about staff training, management skills, and using behavioral strategies to make meaningful lifestyle changes.
ABOUT THE CLASS:
Over the past few weeks, our lives have been impacted significantly by the effects of COVID-19. We have been advised to stay home as much as possible, and for many of us, that means transitioning to working from home.
While this seemed like a great opportunity initially, you may find yourself on your couch, still in your sweats, binge-watching your fave shows and trying to remember what you need to get done.
In this course, you will learn some actionable skills that you can take to your new home workplace that will help you to remain on-task, balanced, and productive during this time.
Specifically, we will address the following:
- Organizing your home environment for task completion
- Creating accountability systems for yourself in the home
- Identifying how to structure your workdays
- Finding potential barriers to task completion in your home situation
- Identify behaviors that are associated with successful work from home
- Establishing ways to maintain relationships with your coworkers
Let's find some strategies to ease you into a more healthy transition. See you there!
